University of Texas of the Rio Grande Valley Online MSW Program
The University of Texas of the Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) offers an entirely online Advanced Standing MSW program with concentrations in Administration and Community Practice and Direct Practice with Latino Individuals, Families and Groups. UTRGV’s online MSW Advanced Standing program can be completed in as few as 12 months and classes are held in seven-week semesters. Classes are delivered entirely online, though students are required to fulfill 500 hours of field work in a relevant practicum experience. The Advanced Standing (online accelerated) track is designed for students who have already completed a BSW from a CSWE accredited program.

The advanced standing online MSW track is composed of 33 credits. Advanced standing students can complete the program in one year and classes are held in seven-week sessions.
